Did you know that all SCBA families are a part of PTO? All parents/guardians are welcome to attend a PTO planning meeting for the 2019-2020 school year on Tuesday, July 30 at 6:30pm in the school conference room.
Subjects covered will be (but not limited to):

Volunteerism and our PTO is vitally important in making this academy the best that it can be. We hope to see you there!

Don't forget about your summer reading requirements!
Find your scholar's grade for the upcoming year to see the requirements, suggestions, reading programs, and reading logs.
Bring the reading logs with you to the SCBA Scholar Kick-Off on August 14! If your scholar has met their reading goal, they will be eligible for a free dress day.
Registration is now open for fall sports of the 2019-2020 school year!
It's that time of year again!
Unfortunately, summer is already half over and the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year is just around the corner. Registration is currently open for Girls Volleyball (grades 3-8) and Boys and Girls Cross Country (grades 3-8).
If your son or daughter is interested in participating, please respond to Cory Winnike at firstname.lastname@example.org with their name, grade, sport interested in, and parental contact information. Our first and foremost priority is to have enough interest to have our students compete for SCBA, but, if we are unable to field a complete team, we will look at combining grades as well as partner with other schools.
We will be looking for volunteers to help coach our student athletes, so if you have any experience, know someone that does, or are willing to help out, please let me know as well.
I would also like to take this moment to congratulate and thank Coach Tony Lehr for his many years of service to SCBA as Track and Cross Country Coach. Tony informed us at the end of last year that he would be stepping away from his coaching position. We are currently looking for someone to fill these roles as well.
Please feel free to respond with any questions you may have. I look forward to seeing you all again this coming school year and enjoy the rest of your summer.
